As lovely as the accommodations are here, I much preferred where I was before. Now if our captors would kindly grow a spine and show their faces so I can be on my way, that would be lovely.

[She only partially manages to hold back the slight roll of her eyes.]

I could say the same thing to you. If you have any idea where here is, I'd really appreciate if you'd not keep me in suspences and just spill.

I'd love to tell you but you know as much as I do.

[persevere]

[She sighs, frustrated.]

What do you think the chances are that this is just some witch-induced hallucination? Because it looks like something straight out of a sci-fi horror movie.

[tormentise]

Not sure this is witchy, love. Seen any of your other friends around?

[persevere]

Nope. As far as I can tell so far, it's just you and me.

[tormentise]

[ he sobers for a moment.] And you're alright? Where are you?

[persevere]

I'm fine. I'm just kinda freaking out.

[She glances around.]

I don't know, some hallway. I woke up in something that looked like a cafeteria, though. I could probably get back there again.

[tormentise]

Get back there, that's where I'm heading now.

[persevere]

Fine.

[She hangs up then, blurring back the way she came. She only makes one or two wrong turns before she finds the mess hall again, stopping in the middle of the room, looking around as she waits.]

[tormentise]

[ He finds her and doesn't hesitate in his approach, he looks her over before opening his arms out in a sarcastic bid for a hug.]

Shall we hug it out?

[persevere]

[She rolls her eyes.]

Spare me, okay? I'm not really in the mood for your jokes right now.

[tormentise]

[ He holds his hands up in peace.]

Fine. [ His expression softens and becomes more... determined.]

We're going to find out what's going on, Caroline.

[persevere]

[Her lips press together as he seems to finally start to take this seriously. She knows he's probably just trying to deal with all this crazy in his own way, but the fact that he's sobering up his attitude for her sake means something.]

Yeah, I know. I know. [She breathes out.] And for what it's worth, I'm glad you're here. [It means she's not alone.] This is just...beyond crazy.

[fujita]

Somehow, I don't think that's going to work. [ at least dorothy says it with some sympathy. ] I've been here for over a month now and no one's come out and said they brought us here.

[tormentise]

[ he waggles his eyebrows.] You catch more flies with honey, as they say.

[fujita]

Not if there aren't any flies around.

[ she's honestly beginning to think it was just dumb luck or a computer malfunction or some shit and that's not a comforting thought. if it was on purpose, at least there's someone who can send them all back. ]

I'm Dorothy, by the way. Where are you from?

[tormentise]

You're right. And I certainly wouldn't call you a fly. [ cue a charming smile.] Dorothy, hm? I'm Enzo.

Originally? South Hampton, England. But I was making a little town called Mystic Falls, Virginia my home before I got stuck here.

[ not a fly, but did he just call her a possible abductor? oh, well. at least his smile is cute. (there's a guilty pang at the thought, but — she refuses to entertain that thought. ]

Hi, Enzo. I'd say nice to meet you, but no one's really happy to be here. I'm from Kansas. [ she lifts a hand in a vague gesture. ]

This place isn't safe right now. You'd best stop by the mess hall; we're still figuring stuff out.

[ it was more along the lines of her being much more lovely than a fly. ]

Kansas. Never had the pleasure, I'm afraid [ and no, he's not pleased to be here either. and his smile flickers into something closer to concern when she mentions danger.]

[ she'll accept that. and maybe, if things were different, she'd even flirt back. as they are? ]

There's someone on board who didn't wake up here like the rest of us. Like I'm guessing you did, too. An alien from around here, I guess. He shot one of us.

[ it's funny, isn't it, how quickly there can be an "us". ]

[tormentise]

[ and cue enzo's serious face. he isn't sure he believes the alien bit but---] Shot one of you? There are weapons aboard this ship? How many other people are there?

[fujita]

Not sure how many there are exactly. [ especially since people seem to disappear, too. ] Maybe twenty?

And there's some weapons, apparently.

[ dorothy hasn't counted them. there hadn't seemed much point, until now. now, that just seems foolish. ]

[tormentise]

Twenty. [ that's a lot.]

What sort of weapons?

[fujita]

A gun, I guess? What with the shooting.

[tormentise]

[ he snorts, unamused.] Obviously, love.

[fujita]

Yeah, I don't really know much about any other weapons. Lucas has his sword. And there's wizards, I guess magic can be a weapon, but I don't know about theirs.

[tormentise]

There are witches here?
